During the rainy weather, why not go outside to explore the types of minibeasts that are escaping the rain? We went outside with our magnifying glasses and managed to get a good look at some slugs and lots of different sized snails. We particularly love the snails and enjoyed picking them up off the ground and moving them to safety so they wouldn’t be stood on. Some of the children even held the snails and laughed at the sensation of the snail crawling along their hand.
Now is the perfect time to explore the seasonal changes in the world around us – why not go and get close to nature? You’d be amazed at what you can discover.
